Betty Franklin


Betty Franklin is an RN, Author, Mental Fitness & Wellbeing Educator who served over 30 years on the frontlines of health care in hospitals and home care settings. From her knowledge, experiences and personal journey amidst a mental illness diagnosis, she transitioned her nursing career to focus on programs that inspire people to live life well. She promotes a whole person approach to living and staying healthy through her thought-provoking workshops; life-changing coaching programs and an inspiring book titled G.U.T.S. Betty educates and supports her clients to take charge of their life along with all its challenges. .

Peter Sacco


Peter is an international self-help author and novelist published on 4 continents. He is radio talk show host of Mental Health Matters and host of the TV series Niagara's Most Haunted. He is also resident expert on many TV shows. He has appeared as a resident and regular expert on top Canadian and USA radio and TV markets. These included ABC, CBS, Fox, ESPN, CTV, Global TV, TSN and Discovery Network. Peter is the former Editor-in-Chief for Vices: The Magazine for Addictions, Habits and Well-Being. Peter is a psychology professor (specializing in addictions, relationships and criminal psychology) and former private practitioner. He is an award-winning executive producer of the film ‘Fragile Storm’ directed by Dawn Fields starring Lance Henriksen. He is a producer, director and actor as well as university and college professor.

Lauren Fleming


Lauren is a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist with a passion for staying active and, of course, food. Lauren has counseled clients of all ages with a wide range of chronic diseases and nutrition concerns. Lauren’s personal food philosophy is eating 'whole'istic and sustainably. She is a big advocate of embracing a positive lifestyle, that includes mental and physical balance and shifting focus away from measurements and numbers. She understands that every person has a unique journey to health and wellness, and may respond best to different foods or diets, so she focuses on an individualized approach in her practice. She is certified in mat work Pilates and aerial conditioning through Breath Pilates and Fitness, and is inspired every day by the students she encounters. She completed an undergraduate degree at Ryerson University in Toronto, followed by a Master of Science degree in Food and Nutrition at University of Western Ontario in London.
